Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum Emergency Medicine physician in Lutz, FL. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with a 19:00–07:00 shift schedule at an Urgent Care facility. Compensation is $295–$305 per hour.

Start date is 12-10-26. This role requires board certification in emergency medicine and Florida licensure, with at least one year of ED experience. Locum tenens with Aya Locums includes credentialing support and travel assistance.

Qualificações

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in emergency, internal or family medicine by ABEM/ABIM/ABFM or AOA.
• Active Florida medical license.
• Minimum 1 year ED experience.
• Ability to manage high-acuity patients in the ED.

Responsabilidades

• Provide prompt care to patients with a wide range of emergencies in the ED.
• Perform history, exams, and diagnostic testing.
• Stabilize patients with life-threatening conditions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for acute emergencies.
• Perform emergency procedures (suturing, wound care, splinting) as needed.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to guide treatment.
• Prescribe medications and manage pain.
• Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams for coordinated care.
• Document care accurately in medical records.
• Maintain calm, professional demeanor in high-pressure situations.
