Job summary

Ideal candidates have an MD or DO, completed Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency, and active Mississippi license/DEA, with necessary EM board certifications and ACLS/ATLS/PALS/BLS credentials to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with full medical license in Mississippi
• Completed Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience
• Active Mississippi medical license and Mississippi DEA
• Board certifications: ABEM/ABFM/ABIM or related
• ACLS, ATLS, PALS required; BLS required unless EM board certified

Responsibilities

• Provide locum tenens emergency medicine coverage in the ED
• Fulfill 12-hour day or night shifts
• Minimum commitment of 5 shifts per month

• Complete credentialing with required documentation
