Job summary

Palm Careers is seeking an experienced CTICU provider for locum coverage in West Virginia, working with renowned surgeons and intensivists. The assignment runs from September through New Year with potential extension.

You will manage VAD placement, transplants, STEMI cases, balloon pumps, A-lines, and ECMO as part of an autonomous team under intensivist supervision.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in critical care medicine.
• Active WV license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Experience with VAD, ECMO, and transplant support.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre/post VAD placement, heart transplants, STEMI cases, balloon pumps, swanz, and A-lines.
• Assist in managing ECMO alongside a dedicated team.
• Perform A-line and Swanz placements.
• Autonomous practice with support from intensivists during shifts.

We are staffing for a prestigious health system in WV. Work alongside renowned CT Surgeons and Intensivists in a beautiful location!

We are seeking coverage starting September through New Year's (likely extendable).

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage pre/post VAD placement, heart transplants, STEMI cases, balloon pumps, swanz, and A-lines.
• Assist in managing ECMO alongside a dedicated team.
• Perform A-line and Swanz placements.
• Autonomous practice with support from intensivists during shifts.

Work Schedule: Varied shifts including nights, days, and weekends on rotation.

Privileging:Temporary privileges available. Will consider candidates needing to obtain state licensure.
