Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a locum CRNA to provide independent anesthesia coverage for general procedures and on-call support. The CRNA will administer anesthesia, develop pre-anesthetic plans, and coordinate with surgical teams.

The role requires a BSN, current CRNA licensure, and NBCRNA certification with ACLS preferred. Opportunity to cover general surgery, OB epidurals, and ER sedation in a rural health system across the upper Midwest.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree required from an approved and accredited program in advanced practice.
• Masters degree, DNP, or PhD preferred.
• Current unencumbered CRNA licensure in state(s) of practice.
• CRNA certification required and NBCRNA maintained.

Responsibilities

• Administers anesthesia or sedation for a variety of procedures.
• Develops and conducts pre-anesthetic plan and writes orders as needed.
• Collaborates with providers and communicates with patients and families.
• Evaluates and orders diagnostic tests as needed.
• Monitors patients, including hemodynamic monitoring, and adjusts anesthesia plan.
• Work with diverse patient populations across growth and development.
