Job summary

Qualifications

• CRNA licensure in the practicing state(s) is required.
• CRNA certification must be current and maintained with NBCRNA.
• Advanced practice nursing degrees (MSN/DNP/PhD) are preferred.
• ACLS certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Administers anesthesia or sedation for surgical and non-surgical procedures.
• Develops pre-anesthetic plan and writes appropriate orders.
• Collaborates with providers and communicates with patients and families.
• Monitors patients under anesthesia with hemodynamic monitoring and adjusts as needed.

Education

Bachelor of Science degree required from an approved and accredited educational program in advanced practice

Master's degree, DNP, or PhD preferred

CRNA licensure current and unencumbered in state(s) of practice

CRNA certification required (NBCRNA)

ACLS certification preferred
