Odyssey Locums seeks a CRNA to work near Brimley, MI, with OR and on-call duties. The role includes mostly outpatient cases with OB procedures such as labor epidurals and cesarean deliveries, in a setting requiring independent practice and collaboration with an MD Anesthesiologist.

The candidate must have 1–2 years of experience, active MI license, NBCRNA certification, and AHA BLS/ACLS/PALS. Credentialing is typically 30 days, with 75 case logs in the last year. EPIC is used for documentation.

Qualifications

• Active MI license required.
• 1-2 years experience with spinals, epidurals, venous/arterial catheters.
• Must perform OB labor epidurals and cesarean with spinal.
• Provide 75 case logs within last 12 months.
• EMR: EPIC.
• Credentialing typically 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Work independently during regular hours and on call.
• Collaborate with MD Anesthesiologist.
• Case mix includes outpatient procedures, OB, ortho, general surgery, ENT, endoscopy.
• Provide anesthesia in OR and on-call settings.

Job description

Locum CRNA needed near Brimley, MI starting as soon as credentialed.

• Specialty:CRNA
• OR & Call
• 85% outpt; 15% inpt
• Schedule: Mon-Fri (8hrs) + call
• Call is off-site; 3p-7a weekdays; 3pm Friday-7a Monday weekends
• Call: weekend call typically once per month, weekday call 1 in 5
• Providers work in collaboration with an M.D. Anesthesiologist. Looking for a CRNA that can work independently during regular hours and on call.
• Cases/Procedures:Mostly outpatient procedures; surgical or endoscopic. Some OB including labor epidurals and c/s, bread and Butter including ortho, endo, gen surg, urology, & ENT. Nerve block experience is not mandatory but is helpful. Must be able to do OB for labor epidurals and c/s with spinal
• EMR and Dictation Tools:EPIC
• Must be able to provide 75 case logs within the last 12 months
• Required Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, NBCRNA
• Experience Required: 1-2 years & Experience with spinals, epidurals, venous catheters, arterial catheters
• Active MI License Required
• Credentialing Timeframe:Typically 30 days, but applications are prioritized according to start date
