Job summary

All-StarHealthcare Solutions is seeking a Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a locum tenens assignment in Kentucky. Join a well-supported cardiac surgery program with dedicated cardiac anesthesia, first assist support, and access to a hybrid operating room.

Coverage is ongoing with 24-hour call (7a-7a) and 4-7 shifts per month; EPIC EMR used; travel and lodging assistance provided; credentialing timeframe about 90 days. Competitive pay and malpractice coverage included.

Qualifications

• Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon required.
• Active BLS Certification required.
• Clean background history required.
• Kentucky license preferred (licensure encouraged to apply).

Responsibilities

• Adult cardiac surgery including CABG, valve repair/replacement.
• ICU management of high-risk cardiac patients.
• ImpelLa support experience preferred.
• Structural heart procedure coverage; thoracic surgery is a plus but not required.

Assignment Highlights

Clinical Requirements

• Adult Cardiac Surgery
• Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
• Valve Repair and Replacement Procedures
• ICU Management of High-Risk Cardiac Patients
• Impella Support Experience
• Structural Heart Procedure Coverage
• Thoracic surgery experience is a plus but not required

Qualifications

• Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon
• Active BLS Certification
• Clean Background History
• Kentucky License Preferred (providers willing to obtain licensure encouraged to apply)
