Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC seeks a board-certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a locum-tenens role in Paducah, KY. Coverage is a 24-hour call with 4–7 shifts per month, Dec 24, 2026–ongoing, with travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided.

Requirements include active KY license or eligibility, BLS, and experience with Impella and structural heart support; privileges are required. Duties include CABG, valve repair/replacement, thoracic procedures, and ICU management in a hybrid OR/Cath

Qualifications

• Board-certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon.
• Active KY license or eligible.
• BLS certification required.
• Impella and structural heart experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Adult Cardiac Surgery including CABG and valve repair/replacement.
• Perform General Thoracic Surgery procedures.
• Manage ICU care for high-risk cardiac surgery patients, including Impella support.
• Provide Structural Heart Procedure Support in Hybrid OR/Cath Lab.
• Collaborate with anesthesia and ICU teams for patient care.
