Job summary

Aya Locums is seeking a Surgery Cardiothoracic physician for an immediate locum position in Ogden, UT. The candidate will work on a 24-hour on-call schedule, performing a broad range of cardiothoracic/general surgeries with pre/intra/postoperative care.

The assignment lasts 13 weeks with start date around 11-02-26, offering competitive pay and full locum support including credentialing and travel coverage.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• ABMS board certification in surgery (ABS).
• Active Utah medical license.
• ACLS certification.
• Residency in surgery accredited by ACGME or AOA.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of surgeries including general and CT surgery procedures as needed.
• Provide preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team on patient care plans.
• Be on-call for emergency surgeries (trauma cases or complications).
• Maintain accurate medical records and provide patient education.
