Qualifications

• Board Certification highly preferred.
• Board Eligibility required.
• Active Ohio medical license – REQUIRED.
• ACLS – REQUIRED.
• Demonstrated experience with CABG and thoracic surgery.

Responsibilities

• Round on inpatients on the Cardiothoracic Surgery service.
• Provide 24/7 call coverage for emergent cardiovascular and thoracic surgical cases.
• Evaluate and manage patients requiring urgent surgical intervention.
• Perform required procedures onsite for emergent cases.
• Provide CABG and thoracic surgical care.
• Manage vascular cases within scope and experience.
• Provide limited outpatient clinic coverage during surgeon absence.
• Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure timely, high-quality patient care.
