Job summary

77 consultants seeks a Board Certified Thoracic and Cardiac Surgeon for locum coverage at a full-service hospital in Ohio. Candidate will perform general cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgeries, including CABG and valve work, in a 100% hospital-based practice with EPIC documentation.

Coverage dates are September 14–21, October 16–23, November 20–30, and December 24–January 4, 2027. Licensure in Ohio or IMLC, BLS, ACLS, and availability for all dates are required.

Qualifications

• Board certification in thoracic and cardiac surgery.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ohio medical license or IMLC qualifications.
• Vascular surgery experience preferred.
• Clean malpractice/history preferred.
• Available for all dates listed in the job description.

Responsibilities

• Provide locum coverage for call in a hospital/clinic setting.
• Perform general cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgeries.
• CABG, valve repair/replacement, and related procedures.
