Aya Locums is seeking a locum anesthesiologist in Madison, WI to provide comprehensive anesthesia care for diverse surgical cases. The role requires collaboration with surgeons and perioperative teams, with a focus on safety and high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in anesthesiology by ABA or AOA.
• Active and unrestricted Wisconsin medical license.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care preoperatively, intraoperatively and postoperatively.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to optimize patient care plans.
• Administer general, regional, or local anesthesia as needed.
• Monitor vitals and adjust anesthesia levels to ensure patient safety.
• Respond to emergencies during surgery.
• Document patient care accurately in medical records.
• Stay current with advances in anesthesiology through continuing education.
