Job summary

Medicus Healthcare Solutions, LLC partners with a hospital in northeastern South Carolina to provide locum tenens coverage for an Anatomic Pathologist.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no on-call requirement. Case types include biopsies, surgical specimens, cytology, frozen sections, and marrow/lymph node evaluations, using Epic EMR. Board certification or eligibility is required, with travel and lodging handled by Medicus.

Qualifications

• Board certification required or eligible in Anatomic Pathology.
• Prior locum tenens or interim coverage experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with timely case turnaround.

Responsibilities

• Provide Anatomic Pathology services as locum tenens for hospital patients.
• Interpret biopsy, surgical specimens, cytology, frozen sections, and bone marrow/lymph node evaluations.
• Work Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with no on-call requirement.
