Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong knowledge of locomotive mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and FRA/DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair and inspection of locomotives per schedule and on demand.
• Follow safety rules, operate tools and equipment safely, and ensure work area is safe.
• Conduct inspections to verify regulatory, industry, and customer requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and official instructions.
• Maintain communications of technical information and work procedures.
