Job summary

Velocity Rail Solutions is seeking a Class A CDL Hazmat & Tanker Driver for locomotive fueling and servicing. You will work with Class I railroads on long-term contracts, report to Allentown, PA, and be home daily with guaranteed hours and overtime opportunities.

The role offers a 60-hour work week, year-round work, and comprehensive benefits. You will perform fueling, inspections, and equipment maintenance in a railroad environment, with duties including loading fluids, operating service

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Valid DOT Medical Certificate (Med Card) required.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse compliant.
• Must live within 40 miles of Allentown, PA.
• Able to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform locomotive fueling and servicing tasks to keep locomotives safe and ready for operation.
• Conduct daily locomotive inspections per FRA standards.
• Load traction sand, potable water, and lube oil as needed.
• Verify and replenish locomotive fluid levels; monitor gauges.
• Operate truck-mounted service equipment and controls.
• Stock locomotives with water and crew supplies; maintain cabs and restrooms.
