Job summary

Velocity Rail Solutions is seeking a Class A CDL Driver for locomotive fueling with hazmat and tanker requirements. This full-time role offers home daily schedules, guaranteed hours, and year-round work on Class I railroad contracts. Expect night shifts, weekend work, and a 60/48 hour rotational schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• TWIC card required.
• Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (Med Card) required.
• FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse compliant.
• Acceptable MVR.
• No DUI/DWI convictions in past 3 years.
• Ability to pass background checks and work independently.
• Strong commitment to safety and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Operate a specialized fuel truck to fuel locomotives for Class I Railroads.
• Work predominantly outside the truck; perform hands-on fueling tasks.
• Climb in and out of truck/locomotive safely and consistently.
• Follow safety, DOT, and company procedures.
• Respond to dispatches during 12-hour shifts and work nights/weekends/holidays.
