You will observe, practice, and grow your skills through formal training sessions and hands-on assignments, within a supportive shop environment.

Qualifications

• Entry-level locksmith apprenticeship with hands-on training and theory.
• Learn installation, repair, servicing of locks for residential, commercial, automotive sectors.
• Develop ability to diagnose lock issues and troubleshoot with senior locksmiths.
• Gain familiarity with security devices, key systems, and safe practices.
• Attend formal training and workshops to supplement on-the-job learning.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior locksmiths in daily tasks and client service.
• Learn locksmithing techniques including installation and repair of locks.
• Study and understand lock systems, keys, and security devices.
• Perform key duplication with precision using key cutting machines.
• Engage with customers professionally to resolve lock-related issues.
• Follow safety protocols when handling tools and equipment.
• Document services and maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Maintain and organize tools and inventory for efficient workflow.
