Job summary

Elite Lock Solutions is hiring experienced locksmith technicians to join our growing team in the Maryland region. You will provide installation, service, and emergency support across our territory, representing Elite's commitment to high-quality work at every job site.

Responsibilities include installing and repairing locks and access controls, traveling to sites with a company vehicle, and documenting each job.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a locksmith technician in residential, commercial, safe, access control, or automotive settings.
• State locksmith license or ability to obtain one within onboarding.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; company vehicle provided.

We are hiring experienced, professional locksmith technicians to join our growing team. You will provide installation, service, and emergency support across our territory, representing Elite's commitment to responsive, high-quality work at every job site.

What You'll Do

• Install, service, and repair locks, safes, doors and hardware, access control systems, or automotive locks and keys, depending on your specialty.
• Travel to job sites throughout the assigned territory using your company-provided, take-home vehicle (business use only).
• Diagnose issues on-site and recommend the least intrusive, most effective solution for the customer.
• Maintain accurate service records, inventory, and documentation for each job.
• Represent Elite Lock Solutions professionally with commercial clients, property managers, and individual customers.
• Identify additional service opportunities for customers and coordinate with the office to scope and schedule follow-on work.

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience as a locksmith technician (residential, commercial, safe, access control, or automotive) preferred; apprentices with strong mechanical aptitude will be considered.
• State locksmith license, or ability to obtain one within a defined onboarding period.
• Relevant certifications a plus: safe technician (manufacturer-specific), access control/low-voltage, or automotive transponder programming.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record — you will be issued a company vehicle.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Strong customer service skills and comfort working independently in the field.
• Reliable home base within the territory — daily routes are dispatched from your home address, and job sites will generally fall within a 50-mile radius of it.

Schedule & Territory

• Full-time schedule: 40 hours per week.
• No on-call rotation — your schedule is your own outside of shift hours.
• Territory runs from Southern Pennsylvania south through the DC Metro and all of Maryland (excluding the Eastern Shore) to the Virginia beaches; you will be dispatched to jobs generally within a 50-mile radius of your home address.
