La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club Inc. is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean locker rooms and guest areas.

The role involves cleaning restrooms, public spaces, and floors, restocking supplies, and documenting tasks to ensure high standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction. The position requires the ability to follow safety rules, communicate effectively in English, and perform physical duties including lifting and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must be able to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Must be able to speak effectively with customers, managers, and staff.
• Education level may be less than high school with related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keeps premises of locker room and guest areas clean and orderly.
• Scrubs and cleans restrooms, replenishes supplies, and records tasks.
• Cleans public areas, sweeps, waxes, and polishes floors.
• Empties wastebaskets and transports trash to disposal area.
• Sorts linens, operates washers and dryers, and manages laundry duties.
• Performs finishing tasks and records start/end times for machines.
