Job summary

County Materials Family of Companies seeks a Location Quality Control Manager in Roberts, WI to lead QC for precast and concrete manufacturing. You will supervise QC staff, manage mix designs, and partner with production and engineering to ensure products meet PCI/ACI/ASTM standards while improving efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities include supervising technicians, performing inspections, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining QC records.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of quality control experience in manufacturing or construction materials
• Experience in concrete manufacturing, precast operations, or batch plant QC
• Ability to interpret shop drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Strong math, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
• ACI Field Technician Level I certification required
• PCI Level II certification required; PCI Level III preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise Quality Control Technicians and train them in quality standards
• Oversee QC inspections, testing and monitoring through all concrete production stages
• Ensure compliance with PCI, ACI, ASTM and internal quality standards
• Develop, maintain and optimize concrete mix designs balancing cost, performance, and quality
• Collaborate with production, engineering and project teams on quality issues
• Prepare and maintain QC documentation, test reports, and compliance records
• Identify and implement corrective actions to improve quality outcomes
