Job summary

The County Materials Family of Companies is hiring a Quality Control Technician in Oconomowoc, WI. This role ensures products meet company and regulatory standards by performing inspections, tests, and measurements throughout the production process, documenting findings, and working with production to resolve issues for consistent quality.

Candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail, accuracy, and communication, with preferred PCI Level I certification and the ability to obtain

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or building materials preferred.
• Ability to interpret shop drawings and job specifications.
• Solid math aptitude and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during production of materials and products
• Inspects materials, parts, and products at different stages of production
• Records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the concrete industry
• Regularly observes the production process, including setup, casting, stripping, and storage of product
• Work with production to identify and resolve quality issues related to casting and concrete performance
• Manage housekeeping to ensure a safe workplace.
