Job summary

Zįm is seeking an experienced Location Manager to lead Stamford, CT transportation operations through bid development, startup, and daily management. You will build high-performing teams, manage P&L accountability, and drive best-in-class operations that meet or exceed customer expectations.

You will balance operational urgency with safety discipline, develop client relationships, and mentor teams to deliver reliable mobility services for students and families.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing full P&L accountability with operational oversight and KPI responsibility.
• 5+ years of experience managing day-to-day operations in complex, time-sensitive environments such as transportation, field services, or logistics.
• Experience scheduling, staffing, planning, and operational execution.
• Experience maintaining client-facing relationships and managing customer accounts in an operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute complete site start-ups for newly awarded contracts, team hiring, facility setup, IT implementation.
• Develop and coach employees to become leaders through mentoring and growth opportunities.
• Oversee daily operations including scheduling, staffing, field trip/charter processes, route awards, and trip execution.
• Plan, execute, and complete school bus yard electrification projects on time, within budget, and to specification.
• Maintain P&L accountability in alignment with company financial guidelines and ensure safety compliance across operations.
