Job summary

Prairieland FS, Inc. is seeking a Location Manager in Illiopolis, IL. You will supervise operations, scheduling, logistics, and staff to maximize location profitability while delivering excellent customer service.

You will build customer relationships, manage the operational budget, and collaborate with the sales team to identify growth opportunities, with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with agricultural technology and precision farming tools.
• Supervisory experience in managing a location is preferred.
• Experience in agricultural retail operations is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of retail agricultural products.
• Understanding of agricultural operations management.

Responsibilities

• Hire, supervise, lead, and develop staff to operate the location.
• Oversee product ordering, inventory, shipping/receiving and scheduling.
• Manage plant operations including fertilizer blending and chemical handling.
• Maintain equipment and facilities appearance and safety compliance.
• Lead meetings, performance evaluations, and staff development.
• Oversee daily operations, budgeting, and cost control.
• Collaborate with sales teams to grow the market.
