Job summary

Hub Group seeks a Location Supervisor to assist the Location Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations at the designated location(s). The role focuses on understanding all facets of operations, building client relationships, and boosting efficiency and business within delivery operations.

Key tasks include managing deliveries, recruiting/retaining contractors, and collaborating with clients and the Location Manager to enforce policies and maintain safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Prior experience in management and/or logistics.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Strong leadership and planning ability.
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills.
• Must have the ability to prioritize work load and manage time.
• Identifies and resolves problems with attention to detail.
• Identifies opportunities to increase accuracy and optimize resources.

Responsibilities

• Manager in training to become Location Manager.
• Delivery and route management.
• Assist in recruiting / retention of contractors.
• Engagement and positive culture.
• Work directly with the Client and Location Manager.
• Adhere and enforce all operational policies.
• Warehouse Operations (in certain locations).
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
