Job summary

Saltbox is opening its first Chicago-area location in Elmhurst, IL, and seeks a Location Manager to run the new site as a business from day one. You will own occupancy, member experience, team performance, and operating standards, while shaping the market presence.

You’ll be hands-on before and after opening, review weekly metrics, and coach your Lead and team to deliver Saltbox standards and growth. AI tools are part of daily workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing a physical location or operations environment.
• Strong people development and coaching skills.
• Ability to own an entire location's health and performance.
• Experience guiding tours and onboarding high-value prospects.
• Comfort with AI tools in daily management.
• Excellent communication and decision making under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Own location business performance: occupancy, member satisfaction, revenue targets, and budget adherence.
• Lead and develop your team, including hiring decisions and performance reviews.
• Drive member retention and onboarding through proactive engagement and escalations.
• Set and maintain operational standards and controls across the location.
• Represent the location to Market Leader with clear, actionable insights.
