Job summary

Stake Center Locating is hiring entry level and experienced Locate Technicians to locate underground utilities, troubleshoot and mark the ground using paint and flags. We train you on the job and provide 100 paid training.

You will work outdoors in all weather, independently, and solve problems quickly and accurately. Starting pay is $2,000 or more based on locating experience; benefits include 401k with company match, safety shoe vouchers, PTO and paid holidays, and company vehicle with a fuel

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to walk up to 5 miles a day, 2–3 times a week
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs with/without tools, up to 75 lbs with aids
• Pass pre-employment background and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Train entry level Locating Technicians with safety in mind
• Use a tablet to receive documents, process tickets and emails
• Read maps, interpret blueprints, determine best locating method
• Use locate equipment to accurately find underground utilities
• Communicate effectively with peers, managers, and homeowners

Utility Locator Field Technician Starting pay 2000 or more based on previous locating experience More than a Job Stake Center Locating is hiring entry level and experienced Locate Technicians to locate underground utilities troubleshoot and mark the ground using paint and flags promoting damage prevention in your community We will train you on the job and equip you with the basic skills to be successful in our 100 paid training What youll need to bring is a preference to work outdoors in all weather a desire to work independently and an ability to problem solve with speed and accuracy

Key Responsibilities
