Job summary

Stake Center Locating is hiring Utility Locator Field Technicians in the Bethesda, MD area. Starting pay is 2000 or more based on locating experience. This role involves locating underground utilities, working outdoors in all weather, and following safety-first procedures.

Training is provided with on-the-job instruction and a 100% paid training program. We offer company vehicles with a fuel card, PTO and paid holidays, 401(k) with company match, and shoe vouchers for safety footwear.

Qualifications

• Eighteen years of age or older.
• Valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to walk up to 5 miles a day, 2–3 times a week.
• Lift up to 25 lbs with or without aids; up to 75 lbs with tools.

Responsibilities

• We will train entry level Locating Technicians to Think Safety First.
• Use a tablet to receive documents, process tickets and emails.
• Read maps, interpret blueprints and determine locating sequence.
• Use locate equipment to accurately locate underground utilities.
• Communicate effectively with peers, managers and homeowners.

Starting pay 2000 or more based on previous locating experience More than a Job Stake Center Locating is hiring entry level and experienced Locate Technicians to locate underground utilities troubleshoot and mark the ground using paint and flags promoting damage prevention in your community We will train you on the job and equip you with the basic skills to be successful in our 100 paid training What youll need to bring is a preference to work outdoors in all weather a desire to work independently and an ability to problem solve with speed and accuracy
