Job summary

Stake Center Locating is seeking a Utility Locator Field Technician to locate underground utilities and mark the ground with paint and flags. Training will be provided and you may take a company vehicle home for job use. Starting pay is $2,000 or more based on experience.

The role requires outdoor work in all weather, a valid driver's license, and the ability to problem solve quickly and accurately. Join a team focused on safety, training, and growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver license with clean driving record.
• Ability to walk up to 5 miles a day 2–3 times per week; carry up to 5 lbs of equipment; lift up to 75 lbs with aids.

Responsibilities

• Think Safety First on-site while locating utilities.
• Use tablet to receive documents, process tickets and emails.
• Read maps, interpret blueprints, and determine best locating methods and sequence.
• Use locate equipment to accurately locate underground utilities.
• Communicate effectively with peers, managers and homeowners.

Utility Locator Field Technician

Starting pay 2000 or more based on previous locating experience More than a Job Stake Center Locating is hiring entry level and experienced Locate Technicians to locate underground utilities troubleshoot and mark the ground using paint and flags promoting damage prevention in your community We will train you on the job and equip you with the basic skills to be successful in our 100 paid training What youll need to bring is a preference to work outdoors in all weather a desire to work independently and an ability to problem solve with speed and accuracy

Qualifications

Eighteen years of age or olderHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver license with an acceptable driving recordAbility to walk up to 5 miles a day 2 3 times a weekAbility to carry up to 5 lbs of electronic locating equipment for extended periods of time; lifting objects up to 25 lbs or lifting in excess of 75 lbs with tool aidsPass pre employment background and drug screening

Schedule
