Job summary

Netflix is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Scientist to join the Localization Data Science and Engineering team. You will build causal and ML models to evaluate localization algorithms, support localization strategy, and train supervised models for localization use cases.

You will partner with engineers, scientists, product managers and domain experts to shape localization strategy and deliver business impact across global member experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in Causal Inference, ML and AI Evaluation methods with rigor.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in ML applications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with business acumen.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and taking ownership.

Responsibilities

• Guide localization algorithm development with researchers and engineers.
• Define roadmaps for measuring localization impact using causal inference and ML.
• Collaborate with product managers and data scientists to scale findings.
• Present research and insights to leadership at all levels.
• Serve as regional expert on Localization Data Science and educate regional offices.
