Responsibilities include moving trailers using YMS, operating yard tractors, and maintaining yard safety and efficiency. Outdoor work in varying weather is expected with a focus on reliability.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A or B license.
• DOT Medical Card.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR.
• 1 year CDL experience (within the past 3 years).
• No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within past 5 years).
• Previous yard mule/yard hostler or switcher experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers between dock doors, staging areas, and yard locations.
• Spot trailers and containers in designated locations.
• Execute trailer moves using the Yard Management System (YMS).
• Operate switcher trucks and yard tractors safely and efficiently.
• Maintain organization and traffic flow throughout the yard.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report issues.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
