Job summary

TEGNA Inc. is seeking a Local Sales Manager to grow market share and create TV and digital business opportunities in the Sacramento area. You will manage Account Executives and Account Managers, develop sales strategies, and drive revenue while ensuring excellent client service.

Qualifications

• Experience in broadcast TV sales and account engagement.
• Leadership skills to manage Account Executives and Account Managers.
• Proven ability to develop sales strategies and exceed revenue goals.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and sales/analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train and coach sales talent for TV and digital products.
• Lead a team of Account Executives and Account Managers.
• Support staff with coaching, client meetings and proposals.
• Identify market potential through lead generation and qualification.
• Develop sales strategy to reach revenue goals for the station.
• Analyze accounts to maximize marketing executions and forecasts.
• Build strong client relationships and supervise top accounts.
• Monitor metrics to track sales and market share changes.
