Job summary

Thermal Supply in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Local Driver to safely operate company trucks and deliver products to customers and company locations. You will load, unload, and transfer products using forklifts and follow DOT regulations and company policies to ensure on-time, safe deliveries.

The role requires route planning, logs, pre- and post-trip vehicle checks, and strong customer service. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are essential, along with the ability to lift up to

Qualifications

Minimum 21 years old
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Knowledge of DOT regulations
Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience in past 3 years
DOT road test, pre-employment drug & alcohol testing, and background check required
DMV record cannot reflect excessive violations or preventable accidents in past 3 years
Ability to operate forklift
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform heavy lifting as needed

Responsibilities

Load, unload and deliver product to customer sites within designated timeframes safely
Maintain logs and reports to comply with DOT and company policies
Safely load, brace and secure cargo
Follow safety and housekeeping practices
Perform pre-check and post-check operations on vehicles and forklifts
Assist in warehouse/front counter duties when needed
