Job summary

REXEL is looking for a Truck Driver to join our team in Roanoke, VA! You will be responsible for delivering products to customers and ensuring that deliveries are prepared correctly. A valid driver's license and being at least 21 years of age are required.

The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills and a strong knowledge of safety regulations. Benefits include medical insurance and career advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must attend company driver training if no experience.
• Must not have had a suspended driver's license for traffic violation in past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to/from customers and company locations using a delivery vehicle.
• Inspect company vehicle for defects and complete daily inspection reports.
• Ensure loads are correct and free of damage before departure.

Skills

Ability to handle loads with a combined weight not to exceed 26,000 GVW

Strong knowledge of safety regulations

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Education

Valid driver’s license

Must be at least 21 years of age
