Job summary

GEX Transport is seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers for new daily routes with daily home time. Eligible candidates have 3 months of OTR or regional experience and are able to meet the company’s safety and regulatory standards.

The position offers weekly earnings from $1,280 to $1,620, with weekends worked and two consecutive days off. Duties include pre/post trip inspections, on-time freight delivery, and accurate logs, communicating clearly with dispatch and driver managers.

Qualifications

• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (Urine and Hair Follicle Test).

Experience Drivers:

3 months experience., Over the Road or Regional experience.

Compensation:

$1280 to $1620 per week.

Home Daily

Drivers expect to work weekends but get 2 consecutive days off like Mon/Tues, Tues/Wed, Wed/Thurs or Thurs/Fri

Duties:

• Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
• Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation and Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (Urine and Hair Follicle Test).

Moving Violation:

• No more 3 in the last 3 years.
• No Careless/Negligent Driving Violations, in past 3 years.
• No Reckless Driving Violations, in past 5 years.

Accident:

• No major preventable accidents in a CMV in the the past 5 years.
• Rollover.
• Personal vehicle or company vehicle count.
• No more than 3 preventable accidents in a CMV in the past 3 years.

Felonies and Misdemeanors:

• Class A Felony, Must be 10 years old from the date of arrest/conviction and be reviewed.
• Class B or C, Must be outside 7 years from the conviction date.

DUI/DWI:

• No DUI's in a Commercial vehicle ever.
• No more than 2 DUI's in a lifetime.
• No DUI's within the past 5 years.
