Local Truck Driver CDL A or B Flatbed

Location: Solon, OH

Company is a leading provider of roofing, siding, windows, decking, and related building materials to the North American industry. With nearly 100 years of experience, we support contractors through a network of regional suppliers. We are currently hiring for a Local CDL A or B Flatbed Truck Driver in Cleveland, OH.

Compensation:

• $25.00/hour (CDLB), $27.00/hour (CDLA)
• Overtime after 40 hours/week
• Work week typically 45-50 hours
• Bi-weekly paychecks

Eligibility begins after 30 days of employment, on the first of the month.

Work Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, typically 6:30 am - 4:30 pm
• Home daily, no overnights
• 4-5 stops per day within 1-hour radius
• Flexible schedule; routing may change

Responsibilities:

• Delivering and unloading building supplies to various sites
• Deliver bundles of shingles with driver helper (no rooftop)
• Operate CDL trucks to transport materials
• Drive flatbed trucks with Moffett and/or boom
• Provide excellent customer service and punctual deliveries
• Perform vehicle checks and report maintenance issues

Requirements:

• Train at Cleveland, OH branch
• Must be 21+
• At least 1 year CDL experience
• Current DOT Medical Card, pass drug screen and physical
• NCCCO boom certification before interview
• Experience with building supplies delivery preferred
• Flatbed/boom experience a plus
• Hazmat endorsement preferred; willing to obtain
• Physically capable of lifting 75-100 pounds and working in various environments
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Fluent in English (reading, speaking, writing)
