Local Truck Driver CDL A or B Flatbed

Company is a leading provider of commercial and residential roofing, siding, windows, decking, specialty lumber, waterproofing, and air barrier systems to the North American building industry. Leveraging a network of trusted regional construction suppliers, we have supported contractors for nearly 100 years. Due to continued growth, we are currently accepting applications for a Local Truck Driver CDL A Flatbed position in Cleveland, OH.

Compensation

• Hourly pay: $25.00 per hour (CDLB), $27.00 per hour (CDLA)
• Overtime paid after 40 hours per week
• Typical work week is 45-50 hours
• Bi-weekly paychecks

Eligibility begins on the first of the month after 30 days of employment.

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• Typically 6:30 am - 4:30 pm, with work continuing until tasks are completed
• Home every day, no overnights
• Make 4-5 local stops per day, usually within a 1-hour radius
• Flexible scheduling; routing may change frequently

Responsibilities

• Deliver and unload building supplies at various sites
• Deliver bundles of shingles with driver helper, no rooftop work
• Operate CDL trucks to transport materials and equipment
• Drive flatbed trucks with Moffett and/or boom
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure timely deliveries
• Perform vehicle checks and report maintenance issues

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older
• At least 1 year of CDL A or B experience
• Valid DOT Medical Card and pass pre-employment DOT drug test and physical
• NCCCO boom certification required before interview
• Experience with building supplies delivery preferred; training available for flatbed/boom
• Hazmat endorsement preferred; willing to obtain upon hire
• Excellent physical condition; able to perform physically demanding tasks
• Able to work in diverse environments and conditions
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Proficient in English (reading, speaking, writing)
• Ability to lift 75-100 pounds unaided
