Snider Fleet Solutions, Inc. in Hickory, NC, is seeking a Local Truck Delivery Driver. You will operate a 26' truck (up to 26,000 lbs) to deliver tires and wheels to customers on assigned routes, returning home each night.

This is a customer-facing hourly role requiring safe driving, reliability, and clear communication. Must be at least 21, with 1+ year of experience and a clean driving record. PTO, 401(k) match, benefits, and training are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 1+ years of driving experience, preferably in the industry.
• Clean driving record and insurable to company standards.
• Ability to pass background screening and DOT-related checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 26' truck to deliver tires, wheels, and related items.
• Load/unload inventory and verify paperwork accuracy.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain safety.
• Keep the vehicle clean, stocked, and maintained.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff and management on schedules.
• Communicate schedules, delays, or issues to customers and management.
• Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and policy adherence.

This is a local, hourly position that allows you to be home every night

Snider Fleet Solutions is hiring a Local Truck Delivery Driver to pick up and deliver customer tires and wheels using a 26' truck (up to 26,000 lbs). This is a customer-facing role that follows assigned routes and schedules. Safe driving, reliability, attention to detail, and clear communication are key to getting the job done right and keeping customers satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 26' foot truck to deliver commercial tires, wheels, and other items
• Ensure proper loading/unloading of inventory and ensuring paperwork is correct
• Maintain a safe driving record, follow all safety rules/PPE requirements, and conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections
• Keep truck clean, stocked, and maintained
• Support warehouse/service staff with tire handling and equipment use
• Communicate effectively with customers and management regarding schedules, delays, violations, accidents, or breakdowns
• Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and adherence to policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old
• At least 1+ years of experience (preferably within the industry)
• Must have a clean driving record
• Ability to pass backgrounds screening and insurable by company standards

Certificates and Licenses

• Valid Driver's License and must be insurable to drive by company standards
• DOT Medical Certification (upon hire)

• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to use road maps, smart phones, and GPS devices
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints
