Job summary

MasTec Communications Group is seeking a Fielder to perform site visits and collect field notes for construction drawings across aerial, buried, underground, and building applications. You will analyze requests to determine the scope of work and ensure timely delivery with quality outcomes.

You will interact with internal and external customers, adhere to safety practices, and collaborate with OSP Designers to support MasTec and client projects.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of telecom, fiber, and outside plant preferred but not required.
• Experience with utilities, cabling, or construction considered an asset.
• Strong communication skills for daily cross-team interaction.
• Visio experience for field notes is helpful.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical courses are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete site visits within the designated market.
• Take legible field notes for design drawings in aerial, buried, underground, and building applications.
• Analyze site and design requests to determine the scope of work to be completed.
• Deliver projects within the timeline and ensure work quality.
• Communicate any concerns or updates with the OSP Designer while interacting with clients and MasTec teams.
