Job summary

Intuit Inc. seeks TurboTax Local Service Experts to join our on-site locations across the United States.

You will provide hands-on tax preparation, offer expert tax advice, and guide clients through complex scenarios, working closely with a team of specialists to deliver an end-to-end Intuit experience. As a community ambassador, you’ll grow the local TurboTax client base, organize outreach events, and connect clients with Intuit ecosystem services like bookkeeping and payroll.

Qualifications

EA (Enrolled Agent) , CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations (e.g., personal and business income, deductions optimization, amendments). Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice. Utilize resources such as government websites, professional tools, and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions in personalized everyday language.
Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - Embody a 'community ambassador' and 'business owner' mindset to actively build and grow a new local customer base for TurboTax. As a primary driver of local growth, you will own your market — identifying and pursuing prospects through targeted outreach, grass‑roots marketing initiatives, referral networks, and community partnerships. Serve as the local face of TurboTax, converting new prospects into loyal, long‑term clients. Organize and lead local events such as financial literacy workshops, community pop‑ups, and networking gatherings with the support of TurboTax marketing tools and resources, to create consistent opportunities for customer engagement and brand awareness.
Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - Act as a trusted guide for every client by developing a deep understanding of their complete financial picture and connecting them with the Intuit solutions best positioned to move them forward. As you build relationships through tax engagements and collaborative client meetings, identify opportunities to introduce clients to complementary services such as bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma that meaningfully address their needs. Your role is not simply to deliver a service, but to ensure every client leaves with a clearer path and the full weight of Intuit's resources behind them for year‑round support.
Build Relationships - Connect with people, demonstrate understanding and sensitivity to their financial concerns and build the long‑term trust that turns a one‑time transaction into a loyal, multi‑year relationship.
Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - Create an exceptional customer experience, professionalism, and genuine interest in helping clients achieve their financial goals (e.g., saving for retirement, college funds, weddings, or vacations). - Interact with customers both in-person and through Intuit’s state‑of‑the‑art video communication tools. Address client inquiries while helping them overcome tax‑related challenges.
