Job summary

Labatt Food Service in San Antonio, TX is seeking Student Drivers to join our team, delivering and unloading 600–1,200 cases daily and learning to operate a tractor-trailer.

You will interact with customers, complete required pre-employment checks, and receive paid training to obtain a Texas Class A CDL, with weekend home time and a path to route driving.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Texas Class A Permit or Texas Class A CDL and proof of employment eligibility to work in the United States.
• Applicable candidates must pass pre-employment background check and motor vehicle report, drug test, and physical.

Labatt Food's Student Driver Program has graduated over 300 students since its origination. Labatt wants its drivers to have the safest fleet of trucks available. Trucks are equipped with the latest suite of radar and safety technology on the market, such as: adaptive braking and collision mitigation, lane departure warnings, and tire pressure monitoring on all tires. All our trucks are new and with automatic transmissions that will help with a smooth ride every day.

Student Drivers Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivering and unloading 600 - 1,200 cases per day by hand at designated stops
• Learning how to drive a tractor-trailer
• Interacting with customers

Student Drivers Qualifications

• Must be able to provide a valid Texas Class A Permit or Texas Class A CDL and proof of employment eligibility to work in the United States
• Applicable candidates must pass pre-employment background check and motor vehicle report, drug test, and physical.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, with dispatch times between 3:00 am - 5:00 am to finish (10-12 hour shifts)

• $4,000 sign-on bonus ($2,000 after 6 months of employment and additional $2,000 after 12 months of employment) (Limited Time)
