Job summary

Labatt Food Service seeks student drivers to support daily delivery and unloading of 600–1,200 cases across Texas and New Mexico from five distribution centers. You will train to drive a tractor-trailer and interact with customers at each stop, gaining hands-on experience in a high-volume logistics environment.

You must hold a Class A CDL or permit, pass background and MVR checks, and complete a pre-employment physical and drug test.

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide a valid Class A Permit or Class A CDL and proof of employment eligibility to work in the United States.
• Pre-employment background check, motor vehicle report, drug test, and physical are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and unload 600–1,200 cases per day by hand at designated stops.
• Learn to drive a tractor-trailer and operate safely.
• Interact with customers during deliveries.

Labatt Food's Student Driver Program has graduated over 300 students since its origination. Labatt wants its drivers to have the safest fleet of trucks available. Trucks are equipped with the latest suite of radar and safety technology on the market, such as: adaptive braking and collision mitigation, lane departure warnings, and tire pressure monitoring on all tires. All our trucks are new and with automatic transmissions that will help with a smooth ride every day.

Student Drivers Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivering and unloading 600 - 1,200 cases per day by hand at designated stops
• Learning how to drive a tractor-trailer
• Interacting with customers

Student Drivers Qualifications

• Must be able to provide a valid Class A Permit or Class A CDL and proof of employment eligibility to work in the United States
• Applicable candidates must pass pre-employment background check and motor vehicle report, drug test, and physical.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, with dispatch times between 1:00 am - 5:00 am to finish (10-12 Hour Shift)
