Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Warehouse Driver in Stockton, CA to operate a company vehicle for local pickups and deliveries and provide warehouse support at the branch location as needed. The role involves efficient routing, handling inventory programs, and ensuring accurate delivery documentation.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, plus DOT-related certifications. Training and certifications may be required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Ability to read packing slips and delivery instructions.
• Basic math and reading comprehension.
• Basic computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; DOT medical card may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicle to pick up and deliver local orders and equipment.
• Sort assignments and plan the most efficient route.
• Maintain Vendor Managed Inventory programs at customer locations.
• Load and unload items; secure packages for delivery.
• Obtain customer signatures on packing slips as proof of delivery.
• Prepare items for delivery and restock shelves as needed.
