Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Warehouse Driver to operate a company vehicle for local order pickups and deliveries. The role includes arranging efficient routes and providing branch warehouse support as needed.

Typical requirements include a high school diploma or GED, ability to read packing slips, basic math and computer skills, and a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret packing slips and delivery instructions.
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Basic computer skills for record keeping.
• Document information gathered from customers during delivery.

Responsibilities

• Operates company vehicle to pick up and deliver local orders and equipment.
• Sorts assignments and plans the most efficient route.
• Maintain Vendor Managed Inventory programs at customer locations.
• Organize products in reverse delivery order and load the vehicle.
• Unload at customer location and obtain customer signature as proof of delivery.
• Determine items to pick and ship from sales orders.
• Prepare items for delivery to customers.
• Secure packages to prevent damage during shipping.
• May assist with restocking on shelves.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
