Job summary

Viking Electric in New Berlin, part of the Sonepar family, is hiring a Warehouse Associate Backup Bin Stock Driver. The role offers an hourly pay of $22.00–$27.00, full-time hours, and local deliveries with a company vehicle.

You will stock and replenished bin locations, inspect vehicles, and ensure accurate receiving, storing, picking, and shipping of material. Ideal candidates are at least 21, physically able to lift up to 85 pounds, and committed to safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to climb into and operate delivery vehicles.
• Ability to lift packages up to 85 pounds.
• Must pass DOT physical.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic English communication.
• Authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Be the face, voice, and reputation of our company while delivering products to customer job sites, shops, and businesses.
• Conduct vehicle inspections at the start and end of your route.
• Transport and deliver products to customers with care.
• Unload product at customer site and place product in designated work cell or bin locations.
• Take inventory at customer site and replenish to min/max requirements.
• Communicate with sales associate through problem solving to meet customer needs.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations.
• Pick and pack orders to replace stock as required by customer; count, check, and record items being received or shipped.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize and route material for delivery or storage.
