Job summary

Viking Electric in Duluth, MN is seeking a Warehouse Associate & Back-Up Delivery Driver. This hybrid role supports daily warehouse operations and, when needed, assists with local customer deliveries to ensure timely and accurate shipments.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card. Schedule is 4am start, Monday–Friday with hourly pay and full benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet MV policy requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move materials safely using manual methods or powered industrial equipment.
• Receive, count, check, and process incoming and outgoing materials.
• Pick, pack, label, palletize, and route materials for delivery or storage.
• Complete paperwork and data entry using warehouse systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Deliver materials to customers safely and efficiently on multi-stop routes.
• Load/unload delivery vehicles using proper equipment and techniques.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
• Assist with routing coordination and provide feedback for efficiency improvements.
