Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated CDL B OR NON-CDL Local Route Driver to join our Operations team in Lees Summit, MO. You will safely operate a commercial vehicle, deliver exceptional customer service, and manage a local route with DOT compliance at the core of daily tasks.

The role requires a valid CDL or DL, one year of route-driving experience, and the ability to communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse teams, and clients.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of experience in route driving, specifically box trucks or similar.
• Strong knowledge of safe driving practices, vehicle maintenance, and adherence to all local, state, and federal transport regulations (including DOT).
• Proven ability in customer service and verbal communication, as well as the physical ability to carry, lift, and maneuver materials as required by the role.
• A valid CDL OR DL and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain company vehicles safely and efficiently to perform scheduled pickups and deliveries, ensuring all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Iron Mountain safety regulations are followed.
• Manage the end-to-end route logistics, including the secure loading, transport, and unloading of materials without assistance, while completing all necessary paperwork accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with dispatch, warehouse teams, and most importantly, clients, to address service needs and represent the Iron Mountain brand with strong customer service and professional conduct.
