Job summary

Prairie Farms Dairy in Joliet, IL is seeking a Route Driver with Class B CDL to join our delivery team on established routes. You will deliver to local customers, stock dairy departments, and provide excellent service on a fast-paced schedule.

The role requires a Class B CDL with air brakes, prior trucking experience, and a strong customer-service mindset. You must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and work on-site with a local union shop.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement required.
• Previous commercial truck driving experience and a safe driving record.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and pull up to 1000 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and courteous customer service on delivery routes.
• Stock and rotate products per company and customer standards.
• Collect on accounts as needed.
• Load and unload products for deliveries.
• Follow DOT rules and regulations and maintain safe driving practices.
• Complete any other duty that may be assigned.
