Prairie Farms Dairy in Joliet, IL is seeking a Route Driver with Class B CDL to join our delivery team on established routes. You will deliver to local customers, stock dairy departments, and provide excellent service on a fast-paced schedule.

The role requires a Class B CDL with air brakes, prior trucking experience, and a strong customer-service mindset. You must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and work on-site with a local union shop.

Qualifications

Job Title: Route Driver

We are seeking experienced, motivated Route Sales Drivers to deliver to local customers and service dairy departments on established routes. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, stand, or walk for prolonged periods. The employee is required to use hands and fingers to operate, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms on a repetitive basis. The employee must be able to push, pull, and move up to 100 pounds. The employee must be able to lift 50 pounds. Requires visual acuity to review written documentation; ability to hear and understand speech. There is sufficient noise that the worker must shout to be heard above the ambient noise level. There is exposure to a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, and exposure to heat/cold temperature changes.
