Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Delivery Driver in Dallas to provide on-time deliveries and excellent customer service. You will drive a Graybar truck or van from the warehouse to destinations, maintaining positive customer relations and promoting services and products.

The role typically keeps a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and home each night. Responsibilities include optimizing routes, loading/unloading, operating warehouse equipment, and keeping accurate truck logs.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills and ability to engage with customers professionally.
• Must meet physical requirements and pass pre-employment physical testing.
• Valid driver’s license for the vehicle type (van/truck ≤ 26,000 GVW).
• DOT medical exam and Commercial Motor Vehicle Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Help determine best routes for delivery to meet customer expectations.
• Deliver products to Graybar customers while providing excellent customer service.
• Load and unload trucks and use warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Inspect vehicle and supplies.
• Safely operate vehicle at all times.
• Maintain proper truck logs.
• Work a local route – no overnights or weekends away.
