Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Delivery Driver to provide on-time deliveries and excellent customer service. You'll drive a Graybar truck or van from the warehouse to destinations, maintain positive customer relations, and pass along feedback.

The role typically operates Monday–Friday during the day and keeps you home each night. Responsibilities include route planning, loading/unloading, vehicle inspections, and safe operation with no overnight or weekend travel.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform the physical requirements necessary to work in a warehouse environment.
• Must pass pre-employment physical testing.
• Valid driver’s license appropriate for vehicle type.
• Must be able to pass DOT medical exam and Commercial Motor Vehicle Certification.
• Experience driving a van or truck ≤26,000 GVW.

Responsibilities

• Help determine best routes for delivery to meet customer expectations.
• Deliver products to Graybar customers while providing excellent customer service.
• Load and unload trucks and use forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Inspect vehicle and supplies.
• Safely operate vehicle at all times.
• Maintain proper truck logs.
• Work a local route – no overnights or weekends away.
